The CD840 is a two-layer softshell trouser in recycled polyester, bonded to a micro fleece lining. It is windproof, breathable and water resistant, with stretch panelling and zipped vents on the backs of the legs. Ten pockets include knee pad pockets, a rule pocket and a hammer loop.
